About
One summer day, I stumbled upon the book Cancer Hates Tea. I devoured the entire book in a single day! With my family history of cancer weighing on my mind, I felt a surge of empowerment as I discovered loose leaf tea as a practical option to enhance and protect my future health.
However, my excitement soon turned to frustration. Most of my mugs were not compatible with my tea steepers. Each steeper was a different size, and none of them fit universally! It seemed impossible to find a solution that would work with the mugs and tumblers I already owned. Especially when taking tea on-the-go, each cup became a chore—steeping tea in one mug only to transfer it to a travel tumbler that resulted in spilled tea and extra dirty dishes. As a busy special education teacher frequently traveling to my students’ homes, steeping loose leaf tea felt more like a burden than a blessing…
Determined to enjoy the benefits of loose leaf tea without the headache, I envisioned a solution: a versatile tea steeper that could fit into any mug or tumbler. With that spark of inspiration, I embarked on a journey of design and creation. Throughout the process, my husband stood by my side, offering unwavering support and encouragement. After months of brainstorming and countless prototypes, I finally crafted a product that was not only functional but also cute and easy to use.
I remember the moment I showed him the final version. He hugged me and said “I am really, really proud of you. You made something amazing!” After a few weeks of hearing him say, “You can help other people steep loose leaf too! You are not the only person frustrated with the hassle and mess of loose leaf tea,” I realized he was right.
His belief in me ignited a passion to transform my creation into a business. I am deeply committed to wholesale-- supporting small businesses rather than competing for their customers. Whether retail or wholesale, I am thankful to share my invention and make loose leaf tea a more enjoyable experience.
My passion is deeper than making loose leaf easy. As a special education teacher, I am deeply invested in supporting children with developmental delays. That’s why I donate 25% of the profits from Teany Tiny Kitchen to special education initiatives. This commitment allows me to combine my passion for health with my dedication to children with developmental delays.
As I continue to grow my business, I am reminded of the journey that brought me here. From frustration to innovation, my story reflects a desire to help others maximize their health without hassle. I hope you find my Float2Infuse Floating Tea Steepers to be as life changing as we have. Thank you for reading my story.
